Managing Change's Pricing work was initially developed as part of the Strategic Interactive Marketing project (see I-Marketing). Here the concept of customised products and services was extended to customised and dynamic pricing.
Like our other SIM research, our Dynamic Pricing information is available on our international web site. And, like SIM, the material is referenced by many universities courses, especially in the Indian sub-continent and the Far East.
In 2004 Managing Change and Sans Prix of Australia jointly launched the Ethical Pricing Project. The EPP web site has a unique survey that seeks to identify consumer perceptions of ethical pricing practices. It does this by presenting users with a series of example pricing tactics commonly used by business. Users are then ask to rate their response to these tactics. The analysis of the first survey is available as a report. Sans Prix is working with Lancaster University to deliver pricing and revenue management education and training.
